Introduction
What Does It Do?
Boundless Missions brings your Discord community directly into Kerbal Space Program. It consists of two main parts working together: a Discord Bot and a KSP Mod.
The Discord Bot
The Discord bot acts as the central hub for the community. It is where all the data is processed, managed, and displayed to the users when they are not in the game.
- Economy & Balances: Tracks each player's in-game funds and community points.
- Contracts & Missions: Automatically assigns weekly and daily missions to players, and tracks their completion.
- Leaderboards: See who in the community has earned the most points or completed the most missions.
The KSP Mod
The KSP Mod is what you install into your game. It talks to the Discord Bot securely so you never have to leave Kerbal Space Program to interact with the community.
- In-Game Linking: Connects your KSP save file to your Discord account using a simple 6-digit code.
- Contract Integration: Manage the community missions you accepted on Discord straight from the custom Mod UI in KSP.
- Telemetry & Verification: Automatically checks your vessel's state to verify when you've completed a contract.
Seamless Integration
You only need to link your game once. From then on, every time you boot up KSP, your balance and missions are synced automatically.
